Life is Different

It is Day five in China! I feel joyful! And I know its the kind of joy that grows deep and wide, for I get to obey my Father's calling for me. Life is never going to happen the way I want it to, but back at home its sure did seem like I could control it. I could rely on my own abilities. Now, I am like a child. I need my Father for everything, even as simple as going to buy grocereies. And it feels amazing to be able to live closer to Him. This is amazing!

Our Home Group back in Dayton, put together notes of encouragement. So far we have been opening these notes as needed. One note from our Home Group Leader and his awesome wife, reminded me of this amazing promise (Isiah 58:11), that He will continually guide me, He will satisfy my desire in scorched places, and He will make my bones strong. I will be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

I think so far He has kept his promise!
