Again, please do not publically share these photos. Thank you!
Yesterday we got these two girls molded. Today we got these two girls fitted with their sets of hearing aids!

This is the text message I sent Lina, our international clinic "office manager", who I asked to come with me, both yesterday and today...to help with mostly translation:
"Lina, I know a lot of the things you do for me you do not have to do as part of your job for the hospital, like go to Children's Hospital or go with me to the hearing aid place...so thank you very much. We could not do what we do at the international clinic without you. Really appreciate it!"
This was her response:
"I am really happy for having this opportunity to do some meaningful things. Today I saw tears in mom's eyes when (girl #1) can hear voice better, I was filled with feelings."
We still need lots of pr'yer for these girls! Girl #1 had the bilateral deficits with left being much worse than right. She showed that she was able to hear much better with the hearing aids. We hope her speech development improves with time! Girl #2's essentially deaf, and though her middle/inner ear structures are intact, the wearable hearing aids is a last ditch effort by me before truly considering surgery, which could be extremely complicated for this family. She did show signs of possibly hearing for the first time, but we aren't sure just yet. We'll definitely try to follow up with her pretty frequently.
Of note, girl #1 has been told, many times by family and family friends, her speech delay and mumbling is due to her just being dumb/stupid. Mom was so thankful today, with tears in her eyes...knowing that her child ISN'T stupid, and that there is hope for her.
Looking up with great anticipation,
